Kathleen is an accomplished executive, entrepreneur, social entrepreneur, and teacher. From the beginning of her career, she has been passionate about the adoption of new technologies. Initially, working in large organizations (including PNCBank, KPMG, Humana), she contributed to and later led new technology projects where it was critical to build usable technologies that would be successfully adopted by internal staff and customers.

More recently, as CEO of two venture capital backed healthcare technology services companies, CEO of a social entrepreneurship, technology services nonprofit, and Executive-In-Residence at Georgia Tech, her vision and ability to execute has resulted in developing strategies and viable business models; raising significant amounts of capital; bringing new ideas to market; and creating sustainable revenues, operating margins, and organizations; and teaching others, to do the same.

Kathleen works on the leading edge of change.  For example, in

  • New Technologies:  determining what’s needed, developing the plan, and moving into adoption and implementation;
  • Business Models:  increasing revenues and margins, and more recently creating social impact across financial, community and environmental perspectives;
  • Expanded Community Engagement:   from customer engagement employee engagement, volunteer engagement and community capacity building.

Kathleen – Traveler and Guide

Kathleen is a curious investigator, avid researcher, tireless traveler, piercing analyst and focused chronicler about living life from the outside-in (physical world creating experience) and the inside-out (inner wisdom guiding experience). Whether she’s at work, home, or volunteering she is fully captivated by what she is doing and what she is learning about herself and the world.

Kathleen has traveled extensively in the United States and abroad. She is a published writer exploring the intersection of ourselves and the world. She is an avid volunteer and mentor contributing her talents to create new possibilities. She speaks on topics such as entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, sustainable impact, technology adoption, passion, creativity and success.
